The American born son of Cuban immigrants; Manny grew up in Miami attending public schools and was an All-State runner in High School. The Irving M. Ives Senior Award. He then graduated from Harvard University as a Kennedy Fellow, with an M.P.P. in Public Policy and International Finance. Mr. Gonzalez joined Procter & Gamble, the largest consumer products company with over $80 Billion in global sales and became the first Hispanic to become a Vice President in the company’s 170 years history. He later returned to South Florida when he was tapped to lead a start up created to develop innovative products in the health care industry. As a result of this innovative work, The National Hispanic Health Foundation recognized Manny with its Leadership Award in 2014 for his work in improving people’s health.
